Drinking Wine is the story of six frenemies, who, once a year, get smashed and air their grievances about one another. 

The World premiere of Drinking Wine will take place in the first weekend of December.

Our film, Summer of '69, will be having a screening as part of the NORTHWEST FILM FORUM FRESH SIGHTINGS FESTIVAL, in Seattle WA. 

Summer of '69 is a film that explores the psyche of the Manson Family. Summer of '69 is the winner of the 2015 Best New Shorts Competition, in the Experimental category!

FRAT PIE is a piece written by company member Ellen Steves and directed by Artistic Director Steven Ackley. It deals with fraternity hazing in the early 2000's. 

FRAT PIE is part of a larger festival, called ONESIES: an evening of one-acts. Hosted by Columbia University, ONESIES is a compilation of one acts from the second year playwrights.

Summer of '69 is based on the urban legend that the Manson family filmed all it's misdeeds with Super-8 cameras. Following them through a whole summer, we take a fresh look at an old story.

boom! theater has been hard at work renovating out new live/work space! As our flagship event, we will be hosting a salon, to welcome artists to present their work and expand the possibilities of what our space can be. We will have performance artists, photographers, writers, visual artists, musicians, etc. 

The definition of a salon is, "A gathering of people under one roof, held partly to amuse one another, and partly to refine taste and increase knowledge of participants through conversation."

Welcome to the Butt Museum.

To celebrate the opening night of our scholarly showcase of posterior perplexity, we will present a variety of theatrical performances.
A renowned historian of derriere distinction will be hosting the event.

Inspired by a list of the craziest, real objects that were really surgically removed from real rectums, "An Exhibition of Intimate Objects at the Butt Museum" is a night of multidisciplinary performances dedicated to the artistic exploration on interior exploration gone wrong.

Doors open at 8pm, show begins at 8:30pm.
